Who We Are

Ruth, Phil and Carl founded Cool Gardens back in 2001 with an idea to create beautifully designed gardens, and to help our clients through the whole process from ideas to completion. Over the years and hundreds of transformed outside spaces later, and with Vicki joining us with her business in 2011, we have grown to be a talented and award-winning team of experienced Design and Landscaping professionals working together to provide our clients with beautiful gardens.

We believe that the best results come from tapping into talent from a wide range of specialities including Landscape Architecture, Garden Design, Planting, Construction, and Project Management, as well as ongoing Garden Maintenance.

And in this our 19th year, we have evolved into CG Landscape Associates, come and meet some of the team below.

Design Team

Design Team

CGLA have a world class design team headed by Eike Selby who has over 20 years experience as an industry respected Landscape Architect.

He heads up a hugely skilled multinational design team with a wide range of specialisms including garden designers, landscape architects, arts and graphic specialists, and horticulturalists.

Project Management

Our four directors all have hands on experience of working on-site as well as supervising and managing projects. We often lead the construction process and retain oversight. However we know that most projects require a more focussed and dedicated expert resource, and to this end we have a project management team in house, comprising full-time project managers, a Quantity Surveyor to provide costings and keep and eye on your finances, and a Health and Safety professional to ensure our projects are managed in a safe and secure manner. Each project will have named individuals allocated to them, and you will have access 24 hours a day to our on-line project management system which maintains all documentation and communication in an easy to access and contractually robust format.
