Who We Are Cool Gardens was founded back in 2001 with an idea to create beautifully designed gardens, and to help our clients through the whole process from ideas to completion. Over the years our team has developed, bringing in specialist Landscape Architects, Project Managers, and Construction experts, as well as a Garden Maintenance arm. In 2021 we rebranded to Cool Gardens Landscape Associates (CGLA for short). Ruth, Carl and Vicki lead the business with Ruth and Vicki focussing on Design and Carl leading Landscaping. Next up is Maria Background Originally from Poland, Maria graduated from Buckinghamshire New University with a first class honours degree in Spatial Design and worked as an Interior and Set Designer before joining the CGLA team in 2019. Brixton Department Store – Squire and Partners
Brixton Department Store – Squire and Partners The Brixton Department Store is an iconic building, given a new lease of life as the flagship headquarters of Squire and Partners Architects. CG were asked to take on the design detailing following an excellent Concept Design by Marcus Barnett and implementation of the landscaping for the roof terraces and courtyard, including the installation of a 10m tree to the courtyard using a crane. The 4th floor roof terrace is a stunning public space, adjacent to their restaurant and features many fruit trees, herbs and other productive plants. Service offered: Landscaping, Maintenance
