Maria Jose is one of the design team, bringing her background in spatial, interior and set design to CGLA since 2019. She has worked on a diverse range of projects including residential gardens, rooftop terraces and larger commercial schemes. Maria’s creative skills allow her to translate ideas into sketches, sculptural details and realistic visuals that help clients see their dream spaces come to life.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Maria has contributed to many successful designs delivered across the UK and internationally. Beyond her professional work, she also volunteers in her hometown in Poland, where she has led community projects such as courtyard revitalisations, public murals and a dog park initiative that won a city poll. She recently organised a plein-air painting competition as part of an ecological conference, bringing art and nature closer to the community.

EARLY CAREER

Over the past 15 years Maria has explored a wide spectrum of art forms including sculpture, model-making, photography and installations. She has also worked in production design for independent films and music videos, with her work appearing in theatres, educational institutions and BBC programmes.

APPROACH

Maria approaches design with imagination and artistry, always looking for ways to transform even the most overlooked spaces into something magical. She draws inspiration from photography, music and nature, and brings a fresh creative perspective to every project.
