Located in Radlett, Hertfordshire, this garden was designed to complement a new Neo-Georgian-style home while embracing a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle. The site naturally slopes from front to back, requiring a carefully structured design to integrate different levels while maintaining a refined aesthetic.
A sculptural black, flush-edge swimming pool serves as a striking focal point, recessed into a multi-functional terrace that includes a sunken firepit. The garden layout enhances the architectural presence of the house while introducing a natural flow through the space, leading towards a pool house and woodland seating area at the lower level.
Terracing & Level Transitions
The design incorporates corten steel lawn terraces, allowing for a gradual and elegant transition between levels. These terraces create depth and contrast against the softer planting while maintaining a structured, contemporary feel. Pathways subtly guide movement towards the rear of the garden, where the pool house and shaded woodland seating provide a private retreat.

This garden seamlessly blends structured elegance with natural elements, creating a space that enhances both function and aesthetics.
