This expansive garden in Flaunden required a cohesive design to unite multiple distinct areas into a seamless and functional outdoor space. The goal was to create a family-friendly setting for entertaining while maintaining the charm and character of the property.

A large patio was introduced at the rear of the house, providing a generous space for hosting gatherings. This area connects to a beautifully designed lily pond, lined with espalier hornbeam trees. These trees add structure and height without obstructing views, ensuring the space remains open and inviting while seated.

Herringbone Brick Courtyard & Poolside Connection

Adjacent to the pool complex and offices, a herringbone brick terrace and pathways were created, forming a separate courtyard space that remains visually linked to the rest of the garden. This well-defined area offers a refined yet flexible setting, ideal for both large gatherings and more intimate outdoor entertaining.
