This listed property in Blackheath underwent a major extension, including the addition of a new studio and gym within the gardens. The landscape design was carefully developed to unify these elements, creating a seamless connection between the original architecture and the new additions.

A soft sweep of grass planting was introduced around a newly designed pool and patio, blending the contemporary garden spaces with the historic setting. Stainless steel accents were incorporated into the wall sculpture for a modern contrast, while corten steel was used within the planting scheme to add warmth and texture.

Tree Planting & Natural Enclosure

To integrate the new studio harmoniously into the landscape, large specimen trees were strategically placed to provide subtle screening while linking with the existing tree canopy. This approach enhances the sense of enclosure, ensuring privacy while maintaining an open and natural aesthetic.
