Redwood Place

This small north facing garden is located within a quiet neighborhood by Redwood Place, Beaconsfield. The rear of the garden has become very overgrown and shady and is looking a little tired. The existing patio was not big enough to provide enough seating and entertaining space, lack of symmetry and structure was also an issue. The main challenge was to provide a design solution that would accommodate several existing features.
The vision was to create a good size outdoor dining / seating space as well as an enclosed firepit at the back of the garden. These two spaces would be connected by footpaths leading through lush planting with a cool colour palette. Two opposing spots for seating on each side of the central lawn provide structure and symmetry. The existing and proposed specimen trees provide interesting focal points and bring the entire composition together.
